This programme enables the learners to tap into their classroom concepts and apply the STEM theory principles into solving real life problems, sparking an interest in associated careers. This programme will always be carried out over the years, as we always have new recruits or learners improving their projects and attempting to progress to final stage of the programme, making it a continuous process where we engage with learners for up to 5 years. Ours is a long term investment! 

I2C incorporate additional resources to facilitate success. These include consultations and mentorship sessions with STEAMi profressionals which also accounts for industry exposure. Furthermore, our research methodology workshop is also available as a 25 minute visual recording captured as a television lesson for learners to refer back. Our research methodology for STEAMi projects guide is also available in isiZulu and SeSotho. Noting the access to connectivity and information sources challenges for the beneficiaries, the Nka’Thuto mobile research lab makes it’s rounds to the beneficiaries to further ensure success
